APH Cranes recently paid a visit to the Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Training Centre with our Liebherr LTM1045/2 45t crane to assist the MOD's Joint Aircraft Recovery and Transport Squadron with the unloading and piecing together of a cold war relic, in the form of a SEPECAT Jaguar GR1 aircraft, which last saw flight in the mid 1980's, and has since been based at RAF Cosford for use in ground instruction for new RAF aeronautical engineers.
The airframe has been acquired by Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue to be used at their already extensive training facility at Waddington.
Here are some photographs of the cat's journey.
